The required RF sampling clocks and reference clocks are generated on the SOM from on-SOM RF PLLs. Hence no external PLL clocks are required from the carrier board.
Optionally, the reference clock pins for Bank 226, Bank 227, Bank 230, and Bank 231 are routed to B2B Connector-1 through zero-ohm resistors, which are DNP (Do Not Populate) on the SOM. This configuration is detailed in “RF ADC” and “RF DAC” of the latest iW-G42M datasheet.
On the carrier board, optionally clock inputs are connected to B2B Connector-1 pins. Kindly connect with iWave for dedicated B2B Connector-1 pin detail.
