How to update FMC EEPROM dts nodes in u-boot?

U-Boot EEPROM Configuration & Build Procedure:

  1. Compilation Reference: Please refer “Standalone Build Procedure” and “U-Boot Build Procedure” from the Software User Manual, for instructions on compiling U-Boot.

  2. Device Tree Modification: After applying the basic customization patch, navigate to the following Device Tree Source (DTS) file: arch/arm/dts/ls1021a_iwg47m.dts

  3. EEPROM Configuration: Locate the EEPROM entries within the I2C Mux node (i2c_mux: msd9546@70) under the i2c@3 node. Update the compatible, pagesize, and size properties to match your specific EEPROM hardware specifications.

  4. Flashing: Once the build is complete, follow the instructions mentioned in “Procedure to Program NOR Flash with U-Boot” from the Software User Manual to flash the updated binary to your board.
