Magnetics Center Tap Verification: Please review the attached magnetics datasheet to verify the center tap termination. Specifically, the Magnetics center tap pins are decoupled to ground via 0.1uF capacitors. This termination is for common-mode noise suppression and maintaining signal integrity across the differential pairs.
ESD Protection and Connector Specifications: In G35D development kit, ESD protection circuitry and related circuits are placed between the SOM’s RGMII/SGMII PHY interface and the RJ45 ethernet connector.
In G35D, 7499111447 RJ45 MagJack is used from from Link-PP. This connector integrates the necessary isolation magnetics and LEDs within a single shielded housing, optimized for Gigabit Ethernet performance.
