What are the Multi-Tile Synchronization (MTS) Alignment Observations & Known Issues with RF Analyzer in G42M SOM RFSoC?

Tested MTS testing using RF Analyzer, observed that after MTS has completed, the capture on the ADC channel show alignment between tiles, but then on a subsequent capture misalignment is observed. If continue to capture the ADC data in ‘Loop Mode,’ the data eventually returns to an aligned state again.

This being a known issue with ZCU208 & ZCU216 boards, it does not mean that MTS is not happening. This is a documented behaviour refer AMD/Xilinx AR# 000035223 - RF Evaluation Tool/RF Analyzer: 2023.1 Release Notes and Known Issues (xilinx.com). This AR is applicable for ZCU216 boards also, initially reported for the ZCU208 and subsequently confirmed for the ZCU216.

This phenomenon is a limitation of the stimulus/capture RAMs and does not indicate an MTS failure.
