For USB device to work, USB_ID pin to be floating and USB_VBUS to be provided from Host.
Normally, USB ID status is taken care by USB cable itself. Hence, the USB_ID pin can be directly connected to USB connector. If using Type C connector, then an additional circuit will be required for USB_ID pin emulation.
