iWave recommends following the official PYNQ SD build procedure as documented in the below link:

Also, kindly refer to section “PYNQ SD Build” in the Software User Guide and follow the steps as mentioned to avoid toolchain and dependency issues.
Using different tool versions or manually modifying the environment may lead to conflicts during the SD build process.

Please note that, if the design is reconfigured and the PetaLinux project is rebuilt, the .xdc and .tcl files will be updated automatically as part of the build process. Therefore, no manual changes are required.
