AMD has transitioned toward Yocto-based workflows in recent releases.
iWave Yocto BSPs are production-ready and intended for customer developments. For new projects, we recommend using the Yocto BSP, as it aligns with AMD’s current software direction and maintainability for long-term product development.
PetaLinux will still be used for existing projects that are already based on that environment.
