The poky directory appears empty because it is a git submodule and is not populated during a normal clone.
Please follow the remaining steps in section “Yocto Project Layer download” to initialize all submodules and to build the full image.
# Sets up the build environment (ensure iWave Yocto patch is applied before this)
$ source ./meta-iwave/scripts/agilex7_iwg43m-gsrd-build.sh
# Creates workspace and initializes submodules
$ build_setup
# Builds full image
$ bitbake_image
# Collects all generated binaries into a deployable format
$ package
Note: If only need to build the kernel, Yocto is not required. Please refer to section “Linux kernel” for standalone kernel build.
