About the Agilex™ 7 R24C category

The Agilex™ 7 R24C category is a highly specialized forum space tailored for hardware engineers, systems designers, and embedded software developers utilizing Altera’s high-performance Agilex 7 F-Series (AGF) SoC FPGAs housed in the R24C package (2340-pin FBGA). This space supports teams designing ultra-reliable, high-bandwidth applications—frequently deployed in System-on-Modules (SoMs) or SOSA-aligned 3U VPX boards for aerospace, defense, and high-end industrial systems.

It is designed to help users:

  • Deploy Rugged Processing Architectures: Optimize designs using Agilex 7 F-Series devices (AGF006 through AGF027) with up to 2.7M logic elements.

  • Coordinate 2x F-Tile Transceiver Workloads: Master high-speed physical layer routing on boards utilizing the package’s dual F-Tile chiplets.

  • Manage High-Speed Communication Pipelines: Configure and route up to 32 FGT transceivers supporting up to 58 Gbps PAM4 or 32 Gbps NRZ line rates.

  • Configure Asymmetric SoC Architectures: Streamline software development and boot flows utilizing the integrated quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 Hard Processor System (HPS) running up to 1.5 GHz.
