Try flashing to the eMMC using the UUU Tool. During the flashing process, observe the debug prints on the i.MX8M Mini platform’s debug terminal. Using this, it can be confirmed whether the issue is with the programming on the SD card or if it’s a hardware issue.
Kindly make sure these points during flashing to eMMC
- Follow the Hardware User Guide for the Boot mode settings
- Make sure sd card is not connected to board
- Do not change the uuu binary, kindly check with default binaries provided in delivery UUU-Tool
If still usb disconnection issue occurs change the boot mode switch to 01 (first bit off, second bit on), boot the board and give the below command in u-boot
> ums 0 mmc 0
