In VP1202, all GTM banks can be used as 58Gbps or 112Gbps PAM4.
When we use GTM bank at 58Gbps, we can use all the 4 Channels of GTM bank at this speed. But when we use GTM bank at 112Gbps, we can use only two channels of each GTM bank at this speed (Remaining two channels at this time is NC). Hence if we need to support 400G through QSFP connector, we need to use two GTM Banks (2 channels from each bank) to QSFP connector.
Note: 58Gbps will also be PAM4. If your application requires NRZ modulation, the GTM banks supports a maximum data rate of 29Gbps, depending on the SoC speed grade.
