How to check whether the EDID is assigned correctly in G37M Q7 SOM?

In the iWave standard configuration, the EDID is assigned to the I2C3 bus. To verify whether the EDID is detected correctly, check for the EDID slave device on this bus from the Linux terminal. The typical I2C address for EDID is 0x50 and 0x3a

Commands:

  1. For detecting slave
    i2cdetect -y -r 2
  2. For dumping the slave data
    i2cdump -f -y 0x2
