How to remove the Chromium layer from compilation process in G40S i.MX8M Plus Pico ITX SOM?

To remove the chromium layer from compiling, follow the below procedure:

  • Open the below file
    file: conf/bblayers.conf
  • Comment the line as shown below and save the file.
    #BBLAYERS += “${BSPDIR}/sources/meta-browser/meta-chromium”
