How to set a static IP for the integrated Wi-Fi module in G40M i.MX8MP SMARC SOM?

To make static IP while booting follow the below procedure:

  1. open the file using the command:
    vi /etc/systemd/network/20-wired.network
  2. Add the below content to it and save
    [Match]
    Name=wlan0
    [Network]
    Address=192.x.x.x/x

NOTE: “wlan0” is the WiFi node, if required it can be changed.
