In L6.1.22 BSP, “rtc1” is registered in PCF RTC.
By default, the timedatectl command reads time from the internal RTC (usually rtc0).
To make it show the correct external RTC time (rtc1), appropriate udev rules can be added to set rtc1 as the primary RTC. Once done, timedatectl will display the expected RTC time.
