Below are the 2 methods that has to be followed:
- Develop a driver for the FPGA module: Create a kernel-level driver for the FPGA module to ensure that it is properly detected during the boot process. This driver should enable the FPGA module to perform read/write operations at the kernel level, facilitating efficient interaction with the system.
- Access the FPGA module via SPIDEV: The FPGA module can be accessed through the SPIDEV interface, which provides a way to communicate with SPI devices. Use the
spidev_testcommand in user space to perform read and write operations via SPI. This will enable easy and effective communication with the FPGA module using standard SPI tools.
