The Wayland backend is used on the i.MX8 platform (in Linux). A known limitation of Wayland sessions is that it does not support incoming remote connections. Due to this, AnyDesk cannot be used to remotely control or access this i.MX8MP platform; however, it can still be used to initiate and control another remote computer.
Alternatively, iWave has validated AnyDesk on the i.MX8MP platform running Android. In this configuration, both incoming and outgoing remote sessions are supported.
