The i.MX 8MP QuadLite chip variant does not include the VPU, NPU, ISP, or HiFi 4, compared to the i.MX 8MP Quad (full-feature) variant. Currently, there is no specific document available detailing the power consumption of the i.MX 8MP QuadLite.
Based on the data available, these controller units consume approximately 1000 mW when operating at maximum load.
In unused scenarios, these modules consume very minimal power.
Below is the infomation from NXP on power consumption.
The difference between i.MX8M Plus Quad and i.MX8M Plus QuadLite is that VPU, NPU, ISP and HiFi4 are not supported in i.MX8M Plus QuadLite. Therefore, the Dhrystone benchmark and System idle power consumption are just the same for them. For further details, please refer to the attached AN13054 pdf.
The potential maximum power consumption of i.MX8M Plus QuadLite can be referred to Coremark + Kanzi in AN13054 as shown below. Here please note that Kanzi is nothing but graphical engine.
