Currently, iWave standard release is based on Yocto 5.0 Scarthgap (LTS) with Linux kernel 6.6.52. The next Yocto LTS release, Wrynose, is scheduled for April 2026 by the Yocto Project.
Our releases are baselined on NXP’s BSP releases, and we expect NXP’s corresponding Wrynose-based release to be available early next quarter. Once NXP officially releases support for Wrynose, iWave will evaluate and provide the corresponding BSP and software release for G33D DevKit.
