The G35D PCIe x8 FMC Module is compatible with the Xilinx VCU108 Evaluation Board via the FMC connector.
Isolation Requirements: When the FMC module is configured as an Endpoint and connected to an external PCIe Host, do not supply VCC_12V and VCC_3V3 from the FMC connector.
Reason for Isolation: In Endpoint applications, the 12V and 3.3V power rails must be derived exclusively from the external Host PC to ensure proper power sequence. If the powers are provided through FMC module from the development board VCU108 the external host PC will be damaged.
PCIe Cable: iWave uses only Male to Male PCIe cable to connect from FMC Board to PC. Users may get the Female to Male PCIe cable off the shelf like the one shown below.
