The High-Performance (HP) banks on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC SOM can be utilized for MIPI CSI D-PHY interfaces. However, the standard SOM configuration requires a hardware modification to transition the bank voltage from 1.2V to 1.8V for MIPI compliance.
Power Rail Selection: The HP bank voltage supply is multiplexed on the SOM via zero-ohm resistors, offering two power source options:
-
Default Configuration: Fixed 1.8V rail (via populated zero-ohm resistors).
-
Adjustable Configuration: Powered by the PMIC LDO3 rail. This allows the voltage to be dynamically configured (e.g., to 1.2V) via U-Boot or software utilities.
If using HP banks as 1.2V, then HD banks voltage can be fixed as 1.8V. PMIC LDO3 output can be used either HP or HD banks.
For rework instruction to support HP bank voltage as 1.2V from PMIC LDO3 and DCI terminations changes; FTP server link details connect with iWave. If changes done by own, then the warranty will void.
Please download Software User guide from the FTP link and refer Voltage setting on HD Bank., please connect with iWave representative for FTP server link details.
