Both the iG-RainboW-G65D and iW-RainboW-G30M carrier cards use transceiver reference clock 0 for 10G Ethernet which is sourced from FMC module.
The transceiver’s reference clock 1 is sourced from the clock synthesizer and is typically used as the SDI input/output reference clock. If SDI is not required, reference clock 1 can be reconfigured to 156.25 MHz via the clock synthesizer programming and can be utilized for 10G Ethernet by updating the FPGA design accordingly.
