How to identify why the kernel is stuck while booting G42M SOM using SD card?

  • Please check whether all the binaries (BOOT.bin, Image, system.dtb, and rootfs.cpio.gz.u-boot) are copied to the SD card.

  • Boot from SD card, stop at the U-Boot prompt. Run the commands below.

setenv sdbootdev 1
saveenv
boot

  • Check whether zynqmp_dpsub node has been disabled in the system-user.dtsi file. If not, kindly disable the device node by making the following change. Then recompile with the updated device tree, perform the test.
