Voltage Supply: The 9th pin of the FireFly™ power connector is designated for 1.8V and is routed to the VCC_F_1V8 rail. This implementation is based on the Samtec prototype specifications.

Validation: This fire fly connector with power connector has been fully characterized and validated at maximum speed.
High-Speed Channel Mapping
In iG-G35D development board, firefly connector channels are optimized for better PCB routing, the transceiver channels are mapped as follows:

TX/RX CH1 is mapped to TX3.

TX/RX CH2 is mapped to TX2.

Note: Since both the Transmit (TX) and Receive (RX) pairs are swapped symmetrically between these channels, there is no impact on data framing or link synchronization.
Compatibility Alert: ECUO/ETUO vs. PTMO
In our iG-G35D development board, firefly connector and power connector is designed specifically for ECUO and ETUO FireFly optical assemblies.
It appears the assembly being utilized is the PTMO variant, based on PCIe. Please be aware that the PTMO (PCIe® Optimized) assembly utilizes a different pinout configuration compared to the ECUO/ETUO standard.
