LogiCORE, JESD204, Evaluation License is required for required for generating the bitstream while using JESD IPs. This is a 120-day free evaluation license and can be downloaded from the AMD Licensing site. If full license is required, then please contact AMD local FAE.
Follow the below steps to download and apply the Vivado Evaluation license:
- Search the link https://account.amd.com/en/forms/license/license-form.html in a browser and submit with your name and verification.
- The Product Licensing window will open. Click on “Search Now”. A pop-up window will appear. Search for “LogiCORE, JESD204, Evaluation License” then click “Add”.
- Check the “Certificate Based Licenses” list and enable the required license and click on “Generate Node-Locked License” option.
- In the Generate Node License window, “Add or select Host Machine” details the host under “SYSTEM INFORMATION” and click next.
- Confirm the License name and Host name again and click next.
- Accept the licensing agreement. The license will be generated through email, please download it.
- To apply the license, open Vivado navigate to “Help > Manage License”. Then the Vivado License Manager will open.
- In the Vivado License Manager:
* Click “Load License” under the “Get License” section.
* Select the downloaded license file from the email.
* If the license already exists, replace it by clicking “Yes”. - Verify the license status by selecting “View License status” in the “Manage License” option and ensure the Host ID is matched. Then refresh it.
- Then, close Vivado and reopen it and follow the design flow steps below:
* Validate the design and ensure there are no IP locks.
* After validating the design, click “Reset Output Product” and generate the IP product again.
* After compiling the generated output product, proceed to the next compilation by selecting "Generate Bitstream.
